Rediscover Your Purpose and Passion at the Christ in You Conference in Beaumont
What if you set aside the usual Saturday chores or golf game to invest in something eternal?

On Saturday, Aug. 23, 2025, hundreds of men will do just that by gathering at the Doggett Arena in Beaumont, Texas, for the 8th Annual Christ In You Catholic Men’s Conference. This year's theme, “JMJ—Jesus, Mary, and Joseph—Lead the Way,” calls Catholic men to grow in faith, strengthen their roles in family and community, and stand united in Christ. If you’re ready to prioritize your spiritual growth, register now.
For men, about men
The conference offers an environment of trust, encouragement, and camaraderie for men. Emotional strength is celebrated, and vulnerability is respected. Attendees reflect on what it means to lead with humility, to guide with conviction, and to serve with love—in their homes, churches, and communities.

“It’s an electric day, charged with powerful emotions,” said Andy Sonnier, volunteer executive director of the conference. “Guys can have a hard time showing emotions, but when the Holy Spirit touches me, I’ll tear up.”
Inspirational Catholic Leaders
This year’s keynote speakers bring powerful testimony and spiritual insight:

Father Donald Calloway, an internationally known speaker and author of 15 books, gives passionate testimony about his conversion story.
Keith Nester, a former Protestant minister turned Catholic evangelist, offers a relatable, honest look at wrestling with faith and spiritual discovery.

Bishop Joseph Coffey, from the Archdiocese of the U.S. Military, will share his journey of faith and deliver a heartfelt message to veterans in attendance.
Breakout sessions in the afternoon will allow men to go deeper. Topics will include leading as laymen, grieving as a widower, and guiding younger men in today’s culture. The goal of these sessions is to spark dialogue and form authentic connections that will carry beyond the event.

Worship and sacraments
The day offers more than talks—it’s a full encounter with the richness of Catholic life. Confessions will be heard throughout the day. The conference will conclude with a Vigil Mass at 4 p.m., celebrated by Bishop David L. Toups and concelebrated by Bishop Coffey.
Strengthen bonds, build brotherhood
From high school freshmen to grandfathers, all men are invited to take part in this day of prayer, purpose, and powerful connection. It is a unique opportunity for fathers and sons, grandfathers and grandsons, to grow together in faith. Special ticket pricing—$80 for a father-son duos—makes it easier for families to attend. Many dads have found that the event opens doors to deeper conversations with their sons.
Bienvenidos hablantes de español
Spanish-speaking participants are warmly welcomed. A dedicated track, led by Dr. Luis Soto of the Diocese of Oklahoma City and Alberto Herrera of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston, will be offered in Spanish. Información de la Conferencia Anual de Hombres Católicos.
Plan your day
The conference is 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. at Doggett Arena. Lunch is included. For those traveling from Houston and surrounding areas, some Beaumont hotels are offering special conference rates for overnight stays. Tickets are $48 for individuals and $80 for father-son pairs. Bring additional sons for $42 per ticket. Groups of 20+ are $40 each.
Don’t miss the call
Whether you’re deeply rooted in your faith, struggling to stay engaged, or just beginning your journey, this day is for you.
Men of all faith backgrounds—or those questioning theirs—are welcome. Come experience the strength of Catholic teaching, the joy of shared worship, and the call to live with courage, humility, and purpose.

“Brothers, you could make a lot of excuses not to attend,” Sonnier said. “You’ve got to choose to recharge your spiritual life and focus back on Jesus, the Church, and things we are doing as men to be faithful leaders.”
