Aggie Football: An Epic Tradition

There’s nothing like game day in College Station. Texas A&M's fall home games this season include SEC matchups against Auburn (Sept 27), Mississippi State (Oct 4), Florida (Oct 11) and South Carolina (Nov 15). The electric atmosphere includes Friday night’s iconic midnight yell practice and the famous cheering & swaying of the “12th Man” inside Kyle Field. 6th Annual Biergarten at Century Square
Weekends, August 29-November 29 | FREE

The Biergarten at Century Square is a three-month tailgate tradition that brings football season to life. Every weekend, The Green adds picnic tables, umbrellas and pop-ups, making it the perfect spot to enjoy grab-n-go bites and beverages from one of the awesome Century Square restaurants. 

Free shuttles run to/from nearby Kyle Field on home-game weekends, while watch parties feature a 13-foot screen broadcasting top matchups during away games. There’s also live music on Friday and Saturday nights (timing based on kickoff) and Sunday mornings from 11 am- 2 pm during brunch!

Haunted Hike at Lick Creek Park
Friday, October 17 | 6:30-9:30 pm | Tickets $10

Seeking spine-tingling excitement? College Station delivers with the annual Haunted Hike at Lick Creek Park. This adventure takes hikers through a haunted trail filled with eerie surprises ideal for families with older kids or thrill-seeking adults. Bring your flashlights, steel your nerves and prepare for an unforgettable evening under the stars. Registration required.

 

Fall Homegrown Market
Sunday, October 19 | 11 am- 3 pm | FREE

The Fall Homegrown Market at Historic Northgate District is a free event where 50+ local vendors display handcrafted items and seasonal treats, creating the chance to discover unique treasures while supporting craftspeople in College Station. Live music adds a layer of entertainment, making it truly fun for all.

 

 

Farmers Fest

Thursday, October 23 | Doors open at 6 pm | Tickets Vary

Farmers Fest 2025 features performers like The Jack Wharff Band, the Blue Wings and Midland. This student-led festival raises funds for Kairos Christian School in Antigua, Guatemala.

The Gardens Fall Festival
Saturday, October 25 | 9:30-11:30 am | FREE

The Gardens Fall Festival is inspiring and educational! Part of the Texas A&M Agrilife complex, The Gardens serve as an outdoor classroom for students and the community.

The festival includes activities like seasonal crafts and informative demonstrations.

2025 College Station Oktoberfest 10K & Half Marathon

Sunday, October 26 | 7 am

The 2025 College Station Oktoberfest 10K & Half Marathon returns with a scenic course through the city that finishes inside Kyle Field. Runners will enjoy a mostly flat route, swag that includes a custom beer stein and a post-race Oktoberfest celebration with local brews, food and music. Registration required.

The Arts at Rudder Theatre

The OPAS season at Rudder Theatre brings the best of Broadway to College Station. It kicks off in September with Riders in the Sky, followed by Broadway hit Mrs. Doubtfire in October. Later that month, the acclaimed Soweto Gospel Choir brings their powerful Peace tour to the stage. In November, audiences can experience Churchill, a one-man show about the iconic leader. With performances that span music, theater and culture, OPAS shows are an unforgettable night out.

Hike or bike the wooded trails at Lick Creek Park, enjoy a family picnic or community event at Central Park or catch live music and festivals at Wolf Pen Creek.
