It may be in the mid 30's outside, but the best way to get through the bleak winter months is to visualize the spring. Allow us to assist you in that effort with a preview of Hamilton's spring/summer collection fresh from the company's Houston workshop.

Hamilton—for those of you who are new to town—is almost as old as Houston. The company has been in the shirt-making business since our city's "wretched mudhole era," a hapless time when Houston was low on fashion and consisted mostly of "Methodists and ants," as a Catholic misisonary famously stated. More than a century later the company, which is still family run, has attracted a national following, especially as they've begun creating sharper, more contemporary-looking prints in recent years. The rise of men's shirt blogs, whose writers are willing to dissect each thread of an oxford shirt, have been kind to Hamilton as well.

With its warm palette, trim cuts and understated details, the newest line of 1883 Sport Shirts for the spring 2014 are classic Hamilton fare. Check out the slideshow and let us know what you think.
