Houston’s Fashion Trucks Unite

Fresh off the streets, Fashion Truck Collection kicks off with a grand opening party

A month after opening their doors to the public, Fashion Truck Collection—the first storefront location for Shoe Bar Mobile, Urban Izzy, Park Boutique, and Height of Vintage—is celebrating their brick and mortar arrival with a launch party Saturday.

Organizers tell us the event in their new CityCentre location will include music, food, drinks, store-wide discounts and a fashion show that begins at 7 p.m.

"Shoppers can expect a DJ and there will be a fashion show displaying fall fashion, says Coryne Rich, the owner of Shoe Bar. "Deep Eddy Vodka will be serving cocktails and there will be discounts on clothing. It should be a great evening.”

Organizers say the colleciton, an idea pioneered in Houston, offers new options to the mobile retail market. Shoppers are able to sample diverse merchandise and owners have the opportunity to share location costs in one of Houston’s most popular shopping centers. (Details below)
