Pillow covers and wall decorations from the HÅLLNING collection are handmade in Austin and available only at IKEA in Houston and Round Rock.

World Refugee Day is June 20, and IKEA is creating awareness with a new textile line designed to help surrport local refugee communities.

Open Arms employees are refugee women who have been resettled in Texas.

The line of cushion covers and wall decorations are handmade by Open Arms, an Austin-based subsidiary of the Multicultural Refugee Coalition that offers living wage employment to refugee women who have been resettled to the Central Texas and Austin communities.

"I am so proud of this project and the partnership with Open Arms.... It gives a creative outfit for those women working in Austin and it enables them to create a new life for themselves here in Central Texas," said IKEA Round Rock store manager Paul Mansfield in a video about the collection.

Using reclaimed fabrics, the HÅLLNING line features a Texas theme—think stars and longhorns—and is available only at the Houston and Round Rock IKEA locations. As a limited edition collection, it will be available in-store on Saturday, June 20, until the collection is sold out.
