Little did I know when I picked up this Tahari tuxedo jacket from a thrift shop in Venice Beach that it would become such a wardrobe staple. This is my fifth installment of how to style this black blazer. Summer is transitioning into fall, so why not transition a few of our summer pieces as well? By adding my black jacket, and some other accessories,  I am able to keep wearing a few of my favorite summer staples into the next season.

I wore this frilly ecru skirt all summer with tank tops and sandals, but I don't want to give it up! I added a black studded belt, fishnet tights, booties, a statement necklace and my jacket to keep wearing this in the upcoming months.

This spaghetti-strap romper was one of my summer staples, but now looks like it's going to be one of my cool weather staples as well! 

I like to wear white after Labor Day, so I'm going to keep wearing these cute jean shorts!

For dressier occasions, I added my black jacket to this strapless cocktail dress. 

Last but not least, my pink floral sundress doesn't yet have to be put in the back of my closet!
