Oscar de la Renta Fall Trunk Show
When: Thursday, April 25–Sunday, April 28
Where: Tootsies, 2601 Westheimer Road
What: Exactly what it sounds like—see what's new for fall from the inimitable American fashion house at Houston's fanciest mega-boutique. Per Vogue, the latest collection mostly moves away from grandiose ballgowns in favor of streamlined suiting, antique carpet-inspired prints, and sleeker, narrower silhouettes.

Shop With Heart Card
When: Friday, April 26–Sunday, May 5
Where: Hundreds of participating retailers in the greater Houston area
What: The American Heart Association's 10-day shopping fundraiser returns for the sixth year. Cardholders earn 20 percent off regularly priced merchandise and services from a slew of retailers (Abejas, Events, Kuhl-Linscomb, Tootsies, Zadok, and so many more) plus special offers at participating restaurants, all selected by The Heart Guild. Cards are available at select retailers starting Friday for a minimum donation of $50; all proceeds benefit the AHA and its mission to end heart disease and stroke.
Pure Body Studio Pool Deck Pilates Class
When: Sunday, April 28; 9–10 a.m.
Where: Alexan Southside Place, 4139 Bellaire Blvd.

MAI Outdoor Market
When: Sunday, April 28; 9 a.m.–4 p.m.
Where: Houston Design Center, 7026 Old Katy Road
What: Treasure-hunt for antiques, art, accessories, furniture, textiles, jewelry, and more unique finds from more than 40 trunk show vendors and showroom surpluses. Pray the weather holds up (the forecast is all sunshine!) for a picnic on the green with food trucks, pet adoptions, and kids' activities like face painting. Admission is $5 in advance and $10 day of (kids 15 and under are free) including a partial donation to charity.
du Gentleman
When: Sunday, April 28; 11 a.m.–4 p.m.
Where: Fig & Olive, The Galleria
What: Longtime celebrity stylist and author Remy Toh—who's dressed everyone from George Clooney to JFK Jr. to the Prince of Dubai—has recently relocated his business to Houston and will host a lifestyle event that serves as "a call to action for a return of the true gentleman," press materials indicate. Expect innovators, influencers, and luxury brands (plus, we'd imagine, tasty snacks—this is at Fig & Olive, after all); a portion of proceeds will benefit Career Gear Houston, a nonprofit that offers professional attire and career development for underprivileged men.
