With the latest arrival of Savage X Fenty's Galleria location, what's next for one of the largest malls in Texas? From activewear and contemporary apparel labels to health and wellness reset centers, the Galleria has an impressive batch of openings.

As the mall gears up for the second half of 2022, it's interesting to remember its start. Named after Milan's oldest shopping center, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, no wonder the popular mall serves as a historical landmark for fashion-forward Houstonians. What started as an idea to be an indoor shopping center for the Shamrock Hotel in the 1940s has evolved into the seventh-largest shopping mall in the United States with more than 400 stores.

Spring will be the busiest season for the mall, with ten exciting debuts, followed by three openings in summer and one grand arrival in fall. These are the new stores coming to the Galleria in 2022:

Arabian Oud

When you smell good, you feel good, and perfumery Arabian Oud’s first Texas storefront is here to help Houstonians with that. Located on the first level near the mall's Financial Center, the breathtakingly-fragranced store offers a selection of oriental scents, colognes, and incense, including best-sellers like the orange blossom Centro or the sweet and rosey Arabian Legend Gold.

Beach Bunny

Swimwear line Beach Bunny brings its classic silhouettes and ultra-glamorous pieces to Houston. Shoppers can stock up just in time for the summer season with bathing suits, cover-ups, and accessories like jewelry, tote bags, and towels. The one-stop shop is now open on level one of The Galleria next to Express.

Sunny days are taking over the city, and now is a great time to shop for a new pair of sunglasses. The San Diego-based brand debuted its first Texas location in Houston with a selection of affordable yet trendy and unique eyewear. Blenders also offers prescription and blue light glasses and snow goggles if you're gearing up for the slopes. You'll find this shop located near Steve Madden.

Blue Nile

Now open on the second level between Journey's and Karma and Luck is the jewelry line, Blue Nile. Serving as the brand's first Houston storefront, the showroom offers new collections of coveted diamond accessories, from wedding bands to statement earrings and necklaces.

OFFLINE by Aerie

Opposite Aerie's usual intimates and casual apparel, the womenswear brand launched its activewear-focused line OFFLINE by Aerie. Near Zara, Victoria's Secret, and Morphe on the second floor. Shoppers can browse through the selection of workout clothes made with soft, sustainable fabrics.

The company that brought the trendy Theragun massage tool is set to debut as a wellness treatment oasis. Located on the second floor near Saks Fifth Avenue, Reset by Therabody offers visitors state-of-the-art technologies and services such as full-body massages, electrical stimulation, and IV hydration. Personalized for future clients, the robust center helps to achieve your desired physical and mental states.

Forward, a membership-focused primary-care center is set to open near Saks Fifth Avenue, providing quality medical care through advanced technology. For a flat fee, insured or non-insured members will have access to a physician in-store and 24/7 with its Forward app.

Guests can try the popularized flower-shaped cones topped with flavors like Apple Caramellata, Raspberry, and Dulce de Leche.

Sugar Factory Express

The celebrity favorite eatery and confectionery shop Sugar Factory is going fun-size in the food court. Offering its selection of burgers, wings, and renowned Candy Goblet drinks as a full-size restaurant, the express will sit next to Chipotle for a tasty break from shopping.

Psycho Bunny

New York-based unisex line Psycho Bunny is one of the summer openings bringing its mischievous yet contemporary clothing to the city. Since its debut in 2005, the brand focuses on refined casual wear for men, including big and tall sizes, and kids.

Capital One Café

Available to active and non-Capital One customers, the Capital One 360 Café offers shoppers a recharging space for devices, a chance to grab a handcrafted Peet’s drink or sweet pastry, and even learn more about banking.

Christian Dior

While its first location in River Oaks will stay, Houston will now have two Dior posts to shop from this fall, each as luxurious as the other.
