This Is the 2018 Houston Rodeo Lineup

Keith Urban returns to the Houston Rodeo for some welcome star power.
Now that Houstonians have recovered from the ground-shaking revelation that Garth Brooks will play his first rodeo since 1993 (and after the first round of tickets sold out in 18 minutes), RodeoHouston announced Thursday evening the remaining musical acts.
In terms of range, the lineup is impressive. Country diehards will be in hog heaven with two opportunities to see Mr. Brooks, of course, but the super star is joined by the likes of Jason Aldean, Keith Urban, Blake Shelton, and Luke Bryan—not exactly slouches themselves. The soulful sounds of Leon Bridges (who recently got a boost from a Big Little Lies cameo) makes a rare Houston appearance, and Canadian pop singer Allesia Cara brings some much-needed girl power to a dude-dominated schedule (although her rich voice and clever songwriting more than earned her the spot). You can check out the full schedule below.
Tickets go on sale next Thursday, Jan. 11, at axs.com, where the "digital waiting room" will open at 9:30 a.m., a half hour before purchases can be made. In-person sales begin the following day via the NRG Park box office (more info on tickets can be found here).
Until then, we recommend rookies bone up with our evergreen beginner's guide to the rodeo. Y'all should also start pondering the ever-divisive question of whether to tuck or not tuck your jeans into your boots. For the record, we are anti-tuck. Choose wisely.
