On Tuesday, February 7, 2017 Houston Ballet Trustees and Ballet Ball supporters joined Kevin Black and Tony Bradfield of Tenenbaum Jewelers, preferred jewelry partner of Houston Ballet for a sneak preview of the sparklers that will be included in the silent auction at the Ballet Ball on Saturday, February 25 at Wortham Theater Center's Grand Foyer. Guests were greeted by Ball Chairmen Anne and Albert Chao as they marveled at a collection of jewelry specially selected by Mrs. Chao herself. David Shelton Gallery, art partner of the Ballet Ball, provided a preview of several pieces that will be available exclusively to Ball attendees during the silent auction.

Guests mixed and mingles with Houston Ballet dancers, sipped libations, and enjoyed light bites by City Kitchen, while admiring Tenebaum Jeweler's ultra-modern new store and the glittering array of jewels in pristine sparkling cases.

The Ballet Ball is expected to raise $1.1 million. During this spectacular event, Houston Ballet will honor Ann Trammell for her outstanding leadership and commitment to the arts. Themed Enchantment, Ballet Ball supporters and guests are sure to be transported to a world of mystery and delight as the Wortham Theater Center's Grand Foyer is transformed into a bewitching castle with surprises around every  corner!
