First up is the Houston Symphony, which has lined up some powerful programs for its annual Miller Theatre sabbatical, including performances of Beethoven’s revolutionary “Eroica” symphony, Mozart’s merry Horn Concerto No. 2 and Tchaikovsky’s dramatic first piano concerto. Then there are the daytime performances of classical chestnuts by some of the youngest (and most talented) musicians in town. And if ’80s disco is your thing, don’t miss a concert by the Village People, for a trip down macho memory lane.
