Happening Now: Ellen DeGeneres Gives Away World Series Tickets at UH
I’m giving away something huge at @UHouston tomorrow. I’m not gonna tell you what it is. (#WorldSeries tickets.)

after Ellen DeGeneres shot off a cryptic tweet Monday afternoon announcing a local World Series ticket giveaway, Houstonians have been waiting outside the Ezekiel W. Cullen building at UH since 6 a.m. for a chance to see the city's beloved Astros make history.
Around noon Tuesday, DeGeneres finally revealed the 3:30 p.m. start time of the segment, which will be aired on Wednesday's edition of her talk show.

Ellen's tweets have remained unclear on who exactly will be eligible for the giveaway, although she has specified "students" and tagged the university in multiple posts. Just before 2 p.m. Tuesday, she tweeted directions to "wear the biggest outfit for a chance to win tickets to one of the big games."
Because Houston never does something halfway, folks of all ages are decked out in their full 'Stro regalia. College Gameday-style signs read “broke college student" and “I skipped class for Ellen.” Fathead cutouts of Astros players have been spotted throughout the crowd.
