This Friday is a big day for Post Malone fans. That's when the 22-year-old rapper drops his new single with Ty Dolla $ign, "Psycho," and when tickets for his upcoming tour go on sale.

That 28-city tour with fellow hip-hop artists 21 Savage and SOB x RBE includes a June 15 stop in The Woodlands, the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion announced this week. Tickets start at $33.50 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, February 23.

Houston is the second of three Texas tour stops for Post Malone, real name Austin Post, who grew up in the Dallas suburb of Grapevine from age 9 after moving from Syracuse, N.Y. for his father's job managing concessions for the Cowboys.

"I came up from Texas," he sort of rap-sings in that slightly mournful, hypnotic, distinctly Post Malone way on 2016's "Deja Vu" featuring Justin Bieber–a "great dude" and "genuine friend," Post told Rolling Stone last fall.

Post Malone's debut album, Stoney, went double platinum and premiered at No. 6 on the U.S. Billboard 200. It peaked at No. 4 last November, two months after releasing "Rockstar," the lead single from his forthcoming album, Beerbongs & Bentleys, due out this year. "Rockstar" features Post's tour-mate 21 Savage and marks the first billboard Hot 100 No. 1 for both artists. After 22 weeks on the chart, it's now at No. 5, but the chorus is still stuck in our heads.

Post Malone, June 15 at 7 p.m. $33.50–$83. The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, 2005 Lake Robbins Dr., The Woodlands. 281-364-3010. woodlandscenter.org.
