1. Get inspired.

Hear from 11 powerful, accomplished Houstonians who are blazing trails, busting glass ceilings, and otherwise inspiring us to be our best selves. A stellar lineup of speakers includes everyone from The Suffers' Kam Franklin to City Acre Brewing's Mandy Jeronimus. You'll hear about overcoming adversity, lifestyle and fashion, body positivity, emotional health, being a woman in male-dominated fields, and more during Saturday's Day of Wellness, which also includes a group meditation session led by Khaliah Guillory.

2. Dance on a bike.

Sunday is the day for working out, and participating Sawyer Heights studios are offering 45-minute Social Sweat Sessions at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., and noon, followed by a group yoga flow cool-down with Yoga Athletex. When it comes to sweating, you have options, so let's discuss. If you've never taken a spin class at CycleBar, you're in for a treat: This is not your average pedal sesh—you will dance. Highly motivating instructors plus heart-pumping jams with at full volume is the perfect equation for bike choreography, and you'll barely notice how hard you're working while you're focused on hitting every tapback and body roll to the beat.

3. Just dance.

If you're anything like us, you've stayed up into the wee hours of the morning watching professional dancers slay complicated hip-hop routines on Instagram and wondered what kind of deal they made with God to be able to move like that. For the rest of us, there's Love Dance Houston, the modern dance studio in Sawyer Yards that promises a good time and a great workout to dancers of any ability in a judgment-free zone.

4. Run without dying of heat stroke.

Houston runners have it hard this time of year. Enter RacePace, the city's premier indoor running studio—think of it like a spin class but on treadmills rather than bikes. Runners of all levels benefit from instruction in classes with speed and hill intervals and, you know, minus the heat advisories.

5. Tone up.

As Houston's first fully equipped Gratz studio—the original manufacturer of Pilates apparatus—WAPilates takes it back to basics, providing the full, authentic experience the way founder Joseph Pilates intended it to be. A word to the wise: It's deceivingly difficult. Micro-movements might not leave you dripping, but you'll really feel it the next day, making this perhaps the sneakiest sweat sesh of the bunch.

6. Brunch so hard.

By now you've no doubt earned your daily carbs, and you'll find them all at Sunday's Girl Power Bash beginning at 10 a.m. There'll be no waiting in line at some of Houston's hottest brunch spots today, because we're bringing them all in one place—participating vendors include BCK, Poitin, and Fig & Olive. And yes, there will be cocktails.

7. Shop for goods (and for good).

There will also be shopping, as our gigantic Pop-Up Shop full of woman-centric boutiques, artists, and makers runs concurrently with brunch from 10 a.m.–4 p.m. There are too many participating vendors to list here, but just know you're in luck if you're in the market for anything from all-natural skincare to global-inspired jewelry to sassy T-shirts. The bash is open to all ages (and genders), and a portion of ticket sales benefit Girls Inc, the local charity dedicated to inspiring all girls to be strong, smart, and bold.
