Radical Revisionists: Contemporary African Artists Confronting Past and Present

The Moody Center for the Arts’ spring exhibition Radical Revisionists features works by artists from Africa and the Diaspora who use a contemporary, Afrocentric lens to confront European colonial narratives and the “violent erasure of marginalized histories.” Selected works range from photography and mixed media to virtual reality and site-specific installation. STOMP Celebrating 25 Years In NYC

MFAH’s Lunar New Year Celebration

As the old saying goes, “art inspires art.” Artists Pablo Giménez-Zapiola and Carlos Pozo team up to create an outdoor audio-visual experience that will take audiences on a journey through the transformation of language. Giménez-Zapiola will display projections in time with an ambient soundscape composed by Pozo.
