In case you ever had any doubt, Selena fever is still alive and well. The latest evidence of our undying love for the Queen of Tejano? Funko revealed the designs for its first-ever Selena Quintanilla popular vinyl figurines.
As we suspected, one of the two designs features the Mexican-American musical icon in the signature jumpsuit she wore during her final, record-breaking RodeoHouston concert; it’s even got the bandage she wore on her finger that night! The other features the glittery white dress and updo she wore to the 1994 Grammys where she won for Best Mexican-American Album.
And we said two designs, but there’s technically three Pops coming out. The final is a “Diamond Collection” variant of the jumpsuit in a glitterized finish, exclusive to Hot Topic.
The figurines are already proving to be almost as popular as Selena herself—they sold out in 40 minutes, even though they won't be available until March.
But not to worry, folks.
While the RodeoHouston Funko has been in and out of stock ever since it first sold out on Amazon (Just refresh at random intervals and hope for the best, ya’ll), it can also still be pre-ordered at Entertainment Earth. The “Diamond Collection” has also sold out at Hot Topic with no word on whether more will be coming, but Big Apple Collectibles is still taking pre-orders. Meanwhile, the Grammy edition will be available at a later time on funko.com, according to a release from the company.
Grab them while you can, Houston. These Funkos are already going fast, and there’s no saying how long they'll remain in stock.

You’ll soon be able to take Selena with you wherever you go. Pop-culture collectable creator Funko announced that it’s turning the Queen of Tejano music into one of its highly popular vinyl figurines. And not just that, it’s making a whole Selena line!
“This historic line pays homage to this month's 'Billboard's Greatest of All Time Female Latin Artist' and is a tangible way for her millions of global fans to display their affinity for Selena,” Funko said in a statement to MySA, which confirmed the long-speculated news Tuesday. According to the statement, the collectables company partnered with the Quintanilla family to produce the highly awaited figurines.

There’s not a lot of details on what the Selena Pop! line, which is expected to be released next year, will feature, but a clever Twitter user seems to have discovered that one figurine will feature the Mexican American musical icon her signature jumpsuit that she wore during her final, record-breaking RodeoHouston concert.
