Houston is no stranger to the spotlight. With celebrities from Jim Parsons, to Simone Biles and, of course, Beyoncé, the Bayou City represents on the big stage in a number of different ways.

Now, there’s a new name joining that ever-growing roster: Ho. As in the multi-million-dollar real-estate empire-running Ho family of Houston. The wealthy and tight-knit Vietnamese family is at the center of House of Ho, HBO Max’s new Crazy Rich Asians-meets-Keeping Up with the Kardashians-style reality series that premieres on December 10.

House of Ho chronicles the daily lives of power couple Binh and Hue Ho, who immigrated from war-ravaged Vietnam to Texas with little money before working their way to the top and achieving the ultimate American dream, as well as their now-adult children, Judy and Washington Ho (a third sibling, Reagan, won’t appear on the show); Washington’s wife, Lesley; and Ho extended family members Aunt Tina and Cousin Sammy.

From the trailer, it looks like there’s going to be plenty of perfect-for-TV drama mixed in with all those opulent homes, lavish clothes, fancy cars, and extravagant luxury indulgences: Washington is ready to take his place leading the family’s business, but father Binh isn’t sure he’s ready, meanwhile, the “old-school” Ho parents aren’t happy with Judy’s recent divorce.

And who knows, you may even see yourself in the background.

House of Ho premieres Dec 10 on HBO Max. See the full trailer below.
