If you’ve been longing for a movie date that doesn’t involve streaming something at home, Discovery Green’s Screen on the Green is making an anticipated return this spring for movie lovers who’ve missed the thrill of shushing people during previews like the good ol’ days (circa 2019).

Screen on the Green will be presented by Bank of America and will take place at Discovery Green. As always, the movies will be screened for free, but registration will be required to limit crowd size. Social distancing will be maintained, and the park will take other safety precautions, including requiring people to wear masks, checking temperatures at the door, and providing hand-washing stations. 

Because no movie is complete without snacks, The Lake House at Discovery Green will have drinks and food, and guests are allowed to bring treats of their own. For adults, beer and wine is available to purchase. Guests are also permitted to bring chairs and blankets for additional comfort. 

Currently two movie are scheduled with two showings: 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. They are:
