4th Wall Will Break Virtual Wall During Its 2021–2022 In-Person Season

The company's four-show, 11th season kicks off in October, brings a Pulitzer winner, a Tony nom, and a continuation of a famous work to the stage.

There Might have been a virtual wall between audiences and the stage during 4th Wall Theatre Company’s 10th anniversary season, but that, too, is getting shattered this fall when it returns to in-person productions. And, as usual, the compact and creative season’s chock full of complex themes and rich characters.

The four-show season kicks off in October with the eight-time Tony-nominated A Doll’s House, Part 2, which picks up following Ibsen’s famous play of an almost identical name, before continuing next year with The Lifespan of a Fact, the critically acclaimed and epically comedic ideological battle over the nature of truth and fiction.

After that, there’s Pulitzer finalist Gloria, which focuses on the lives of working Americans and workplace toxicity—a topic in seemingly everyone’s headline of late—before wrapping with the return of Pulitzer winner Between Riverside and Crazy, a 2020 production that was cut incredibly short, thanks to the pandemic. Best part? The company’s bringing back the same cast too.

We can’t wait to bust down that pesky meta-theatrical wall.
