The Houston Texans went head to head with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

AS FALL IS MAKING ITS WAY to the Bayou City, Houston celebrities are keeping busy. Sports are making its way back into the city, while music artists are releasing new projects just in time for the season. 

Here's what your favorite Houston celebrities were up to last week. 

The Houston Texans went head to head with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. 

 

The Texans fell 23-16 to the Buccaneers, and now the team is moving on to regular season play. 

Normani makes a cameo in Baby Keem and Kendrick Lamar's newest music video, "Family Ties."

 

The former Houston resident made an appearance in "Family Ties," the latest song from Baby Keem and Kendrick Lamar. Normani is seen in the video riding in the backseat of a limousine, driven by Lamar. 

Bun B announces the release of his collaboration album with super-producer Statik Selektah.

 

The rapper says that the new project is available for pre-order on deluxe vinyl. The EP is complete with 14 songs. 

The Houston Rockets release their Summer League Documentary.

 

The new documentary highlights the team's journey through their stint at the NBA’s 2021 Las Vegas Summer League. The documentary, which is published on the team's Youtube page, features behind-the-scenes footage from practices and all five games.

Gospel singer Yolanda Adams celebrates her birthday.

 

The Grammy Award-winning singer celebrated her 60 birthday last week. 

Lizzo's "Rumors" track makes Billboard Hot 100 top 10 songs.

 

The song, featuring Cardi B, has reached No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. She shared her excitement for the song with a celebratory dance on Instagram.
