Houston is officially crammed with food halls. From Conservatory to Understory to Finn Hall to Bravery Chef Hall to Click Virtual Food Hall, there's no shortage of these all-in-one options. Soon to join them is Politan Row, which will open in the fall in Rice Village.

Operated by the Politan Group—which also runs St. Roch Market and Auction House Market in New Orleans, St. Roch Market Miami, and Politan Row Chicago—the 7,350-square-foot, indoor and outdoor food hall will include 12 vendors (10 chef-driven concepts, a coffee shop, and a cocktail bar called Bar Politan). According to an announcement Wednesday by Politan Group, we now know a few of those incoming 12 tenants.

They include:

  • Phillip Kim's food truck Breaking Bao, which serves bao, along with its signature crispy, spicy, and sweet fries.
  • Victoria Elizondo's Cochinita & Co., a catering and pop-up operation that shells out tacos and ceviche.
  • Susu Kopi and Boba, an all-day coffeehouse from Greenway Coffee, specifically Niken and Ecky Prabanto. They'll be serving boba tea and Indonesian-inspired soft-serve ice cream.

These join the previously announced Bar Politan, the food hall's craft cocktail bar focusing on agave spirits. Sophie Burton, who oversees the beverage program at Politan Group, will be creating the beverages for the bar in Houston.
