Travis Scott.

Maybe McDonald's should change its motto from "I'm lovin' it" to "It's lit!" (But seriously, it probably shouldn't.) The fast-food giant has unveiled a special meal in collaboration with Houston rapper Travis Scott and his record label, Cactus Jack.

The meal includes a Quarter Pounder with cheese, bacon, and lettuce; a side of fries; a Sprite; and BBQ sauce. According to McDonald's, that meal was Scott's favorite meal growing up in H-Town. It goes for $6.

The Burger Joint's Matthew Pak and Shawn Bermudez have been busy lately. The co-owners and operators of the popular burger concept with locations in Montrose and the Heights recently announced the upcoming opening of The Taco Stand on Shepherd Drive in the Heights, and last week they revealed plans to launch a third Burger Joint at 1350 W Bay Area Blvd in Webster. The new spot, scheduled to open in winter 2021, will have 4,000 square feet of interior space and 5,800 square feet of outdoor patio space.

The fourth Houston-area location of Whiskey Cake is now open at 27800 N Freeway Service Rd in The Woodlands. The restaurant focusing on locally sourced food and cocktails is open 3–10 p.m. Monday–Thursday, 3–11 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday. Brunch is served 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Other nearby locations are Baybrook, Katy, and Stafford.

Molina's Cantina also has a new location, which opened last week at 6300 FM 1463 in Fulshear. It's the third Molina's, joining sites in Southside Place and Mid-West. The 5,800-square-foot space seats 249 inside and 107 outside, and has a full-service bar. It's open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday and Monday, 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Tuesday–Thursday, and 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Friday–Saturday.
