Sambrooks Management Company, the hospitality group responsible for The Pit Room, 1751 Sea and Bar, and Candente is bringing a new savory concept to Houston.

The company announced last month that it will be opening a new steakhouse, Andiron, in 2022. The new concept marks the fourth restaurant for Sambrooks Management.

The new spot will be located on Allen Parkway, not far from Buffalo Bayou Park, and will manage to merge techniques from its sister concepts, 1751 Sea and Bar, and the Pit Room.

The new steakhouse will occupy 4,500 square feet. Indoors, the restaurant measures 2,500 square feet, and will be complete with the main dining room, bar, lounge, and dining room, which collectively can seat 110 customers. Outdoors will include a 2,800-square-foot covered patio, an outdoor bar and lounge, and convertible private dining space which can seat 75.

While the full menu has not been released Andiron's confirms small plates and wood-burned steaks will be included.

Sambrooks says that the highly anticipated restaurant is a passion project for the team. "We are excited to bring together all we do well in what will be one of the most exciting dining spaces in Houston."

Andiron will be located at 3201 Allen Parkway and is expected to make its debut in the first quarter of 2022.
