Let Brennan's of Houston do the cooking for you this Thanksgiving.

The most wonderful time of year is fast approaching. And with Thanksgiving right around the corner, Houstonians are already dreaming of turkey, pie, and time with loved ones.

If you’re hosting, you know the drill: long grocery lines, seemingly endless prep, and a kitchen that looks like a war zone by dinnertime. Thankfully, Houston restaurants are already rolling out Thanksgiving to-go and dine-in menus to make things easier—from prix fixe sit-down feasts to family-style to-go spreads. Here are some of the best restaurants taking orders now.

Brennan’s of Houston

Now through November 26, Craft Pita is offering turkey shawarma bowls, pitas, and various sandwich options. Request turkey shawarma by the pound ($32) or whole breast ($85), or opt for the $65 family meal, which comes with rice, hummus, cranberry salad, sauce, and pita bread. Hosting a larger group? Pre-order a whole turkey breast marinated in shawarma spices for over 24 hours, plus sides, like half- or full-size pans of roasted potatoes, roasted cauliflower, rice, salads, spreads, sauces, and desserts.

Opt for a smoked turkey this year from Feges BBQ.

Feges BBQ

Spring Branch, Greenway Plaza | Takeout

Get in tune with your inner Texan this Thanksgiving and enjoy some meaty delights from Feges. For $21, grab a pack of three links of paprika sausage or chili jack sausage. Then add a smoked turkey breast for $65. Feges BBQ is also offering a whole rack of pork ribs ($54) and brisket (whole for $180 or $68 for two pounds). For a more traditional route, go for a whole chilled-smoked turkey ($135), available for pickup or grab one hot off the smoker on Thanksgiving.

For sides, Feges’s to-go menu features half pans of the pimento mac and cheese, Korean braised greens, loaded potato mash, hog fat corn bread with cinnamon honey butter, and its sweet and spicy sprouts for $50 (the Moroccan spiced carrots are $60). All sides, which feed about 10 to 12 people, are served chilled with reheating instructions. Sauces, rubs, and cooking fats can be purchased for $10. Seal the experience with rum raisin bread pudding with caramel for $60 or the Fluff Bake Bar Dutch apple pie for $55.
