This Season of The Bachelorette Features One of Houston's Very Own

One Houston man is in the running to win The Bachelorette's heart this season.

This season of The Bachelorette is getting some H-Town flair. 

The hit ABC show, now in its 18th season, recently released the names of the 30 charming contestants in the running to win the heart of 28 year old kindergarten teacher Michelle Youngwho stole the nation's heart on season 25 of The Bachelor. Now, Young is looking for the "Superman to her Superwoman," as per ABC

This season's contenders stack up high一engineers, NFL players and even a tech CEO. But what stands out? Five of the 30 men hail from Texas, and one represents Space City. PJ Henderson, a firefighter from Houston, will appear on this season of The Bachelorette.  According to his biography, Henderson is a "natural caretaker" and wants to make sure that his loved ones are always "happy, protected and healthy."

Henderson, 30, is ready to settle down and have a family, but wants to make sure he does it with the right woman. According to his bio, "nothing lights his fire more than a loyal woman with drive and beauty."

He enjoys a partner who he can workout with and hopes to find someone who's adventurous and loves to travel. He has plans to go to Brazil and attend Carnival, loves working on a Rubik's Cube, and despises the opera

Sseason 17 finale of The Bachelorette raked in impressive turnout with 4.37 million viewers according to Deadline. The series brought ABC to the top of the list for post-Olympic tv watchers.
