Plastic surgery has historically been a male-dominated field. Despite over 90% of plastic surgery patients being female, females remain underrepresented as plastic surgeons in the U.S. Even today, there is only one female for every five male plastic surgeons. The Aesthetic Center for Plastic Surgery (ACPS) is proud to have a trio of female plastic surgeons, Dr. Kristi Hustak, Dr. Abigail Rodriguez & Dr. Monica Wentworth.  They are improving representation for women in the field of plastic surgery and providing their patients, male and female alike, with modern surgical techniques and empathetic care. 

Dr. Hustak was the first female plastic surgeon to join ACPS a decade ago, with an emphasis on breast and body surgery.  She is well known for her work on female genital rejuvenation and the “complete” mommy makeover; lecturing nationally and internationally on the subject.  Dr. Hustak constantly works to improve her patients’ experience by incorporating the newest options from recovery medications to scar management, all while maintaining a personal connection with her patients:  “Dr. Hustak is genuine, personable, honest, attentive, gentle… The results are remarkable and I couldn’t be happier.”

Dr. Rodriguez was selected for a competitive aesthetic surgery fellowship at ACPS where she was trained in the nuances of facial rejuvenation surgery and in a wide breadth of breast and body surgeries. As a board certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Rodriguez is passionate about educating her patients and improving the after-surgery recovery process.  Her meticulous nature and warm demeanor are appreciated by her patients:  “…being cared for by Dr. Rodriguez and her team is far and away the best experience anyone could hope for in terms of competence, compassion, and commitment to excellence.”

Dr. Wentworth is a Houston native and double-board certified plastic surgeon who knew from a young age that she wanted to be a plastic surgeon.  She always excelled academically having finished high school a year early as well as graduating college Summa Cum Laude by age 20.   She received her MD by age 25 and did both a plastic surgery and general surgery residency.  Dr. Wentworth has a serving spirit and began her private practice 7 years ago in an underserved area of south Texas.  Having felt she completed her mission it was time to bring her young family home to Houston.  “Dr. Monica is not only an amazing doctor but is just the sweetest and kindest human being on this earth.  She truly cares about her patients and is genuine and honest.  I trust her 100%...”
