In July 2022, Jeanna Bamburg was named Chief Executive Officer of The Woman’s Hospital of Texas, her dream job! She recently celebrated 27 years with HCA Houston Healthcare and is excited to continue making a difference in the Houston healthcare industry.

Jeanna, a native Houstonian, has been recognized as one of Houston’s Most Admired CEOs, Women Who Mean Business, Houston’s Breakthrough Women, and Houston’s 50 Most Influential Women. Along with her work in healthcare, Bamburg serves on several boards including Houston’s Alley Theatre, Greater Houston Women’s Chamber of Commerce, and The Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center. Jeanna is board certified in healthcare management, and is dedicated to mentoring the next generation of female leaders. She has helped numerous women unlock their potential and elevate to executive positions.

As the CEO of The Woman’s Hospital of Texas, Jeanna is committed to upholding the hospital’s 47-year legacy as Houston’s first hospital for women and children and ensuring it continues to provide individualized, patient-centered care for women and children.

The clinical team at The Woman’s Hospital of Texas provides expert, award-winning care for complex medical diagnoses and risk factors. As a Level IV designated neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), the hospital is one of only 127 in the nation designated to provide the highest level of care available for newborns and premature infants. For pregnant and postpartum patients, The Woman’s Hospital of Texas has achieved Level IV Maternal designation and provides comprehensive care for low-risk pregnancies and complex maternal conditions.
