New York Fashion Week it wasn't, but there was plenty of fun to be had last night at the Simon Fashion Now show, which took over The Galleria's ice rink. The event previewed fall collections from Saks Fifth Avenue, Ermenegildo Zegna, CH Carolina Herrera, MaxMara, Fendi, Salvatore Ferragamo, Tiffany & Co., Jimmy Choo, and others. To the crowd's surprise, the show opened with a performance from a Ne-Yo-esque crooner singing Justin Timberlake’s “Sexy Back” as models walked the catwalk.
With black-and-white colorblocking and a fusion of leather and cotton, the message was clear: this season is all about opposites attracting. Carolina Herrera featured patterned prints in classic pencil skirts and sheath dress silhouettes. Fendi showcased bright furs and statement heels. But Jimmy Choo stole the show with a spectacular array of fall shoes, including a pair of sparkling rhinestone pumps and another pair of red caged stilettos. Click on the slideshow below for more.
