The Traveling Black Dress: Watercolor Edition
Typically when you hear the term watercolors, you think of the medium used to create colorful masterpieces of art.

Today, my little black dress is the canvas for a summer watercolor-themed outfit. There are 19 museums in the Houston Museum District alone. What a wonderful way to spend a summer day (in the air-conditioning) looking at some of the best art in the world.
This blouse, by Kay Celine, features a rich, sheer fabric with playful kimonos sleeves. Yellow hose and pink socks continue the artful brightness throughout the outfit. These shoes are a mix of the caged-heel look and gladiators.

I love wearing floral headbands all spring and summer.

Tunic blouses are so easy to throw over a swimsuit, skirt, dress or shorts for summer parties. Kay Celine is known for her brightly patterned tops.
