Amazing things happen when a stylish men's boutique collaborates with one of America's most iconic workwear brands.

We like the classics, but we love a good remix, too. So it's safe to say we're pretty into this shoe collaboration by Stag Provisions, the Austin-based menswear store that expanded to Houston this year. Stag has partnered with iconic workwear brand Red Wing to create the Red Wing Mohave for STAG, which will be sold exclusively at Stag locations in Houston and Austin, as well as on the store's website.

"Since STAG opened in 2009, we’ve established a strong relationship with the folks at Red Wing Heritage and the boots they build. We share a similar ethos in offering uncomplicated, authentic, and well-made products and thought it made sense to partner with Red Wing for our first ever shoe collaboration," note Stag co-owners Don Weir and Steve Shuck in the new boot's announcement.

Although this particular design is new, these boots have serious street cred. The round-toe silhouette was introduced by Red Wing nearly a century ago in 1919, and the Olive Mohave Rough Out leather is not only naturally tough and low-maintenance—the "rough out" is the tougher side of a piece of hide, which requires no leather conditioning—it's also the same leather that Red Wing's tannery sells to the Marine Corps to make their military boots.

And since this is footwear that was designed for Stag Provisions, not the local Army Navy store, you know it's going to be beautiful, as well as durable. The Red Wing Mohave for STAG costs $260 and will hit Stag Provisions stores on October 7.
