We all know where Miranda Lambert falls when it comes to the second amendment. The country superstar loves to show off her country-girl style with a good, old-fashioned six-shooter—her official logo is a pair of crossed revolvers with angel wings (designed by Round Top's Junk Gypsies), and her girl group is called Pistol Annies

So when Lambert stepped out onto the Academy of Country Music Awards red carpet in a low-cut buttercup yellow dress by Christian Siriano and hot pink heels featuring a gun and holster by Houstonian Joyce Echols, it was a fashion moment as inevitable as it was amazing.

I mean, of course she ended the night with her seventh-consecutive award for Female Vocalist of the Year, beating out other talents including fellow fierce Texan Kacey Musgraves. Who is going to take it from her, when she's wearing the world's most stylish ankle holster?

It's a huge moment for Echols, too. Her Italian-made shoe line, launched last year, has been on award show carpets before—E! News' Alicia Quarles sported another pair from Echols' line to the CFDA Fashion Awards in 2015—this was the designer's biggest pop culture moment yet. "Don't Let Miranda Lambert's Cleavage Distract You from Her $829 Gun-and-Holster Shoes," read the headline from People.

The shoes—dubbed the 'Come and Take It' heels, sell for $849 in pink on Echols' website.
