Uvie Bikomo is Houstonia’s News & City Life editor. She joined the magazine in July 2023. She was previously on the editorial team at Rolling Stone and covered entertainment for Channels Television in West Africa. Uvie has contributed to publications like The Fuller Project, The Hub, New York City News Service, and more.

Uvie is a native Houstonian who returned home after getting her masters in journalism at CUNY. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, exploring new communities, and eating good food—her favorite is Thai.
