Well, it looks like I get to start styling my little black dress in some fall/winter fashions because the temperatures are finally beginning to drop. The cooler weather lets us ladies use layering to have fun with our wardrobe. Sweatshirts are a comfy way to stay warm, but they can also be stylish too. I decided to pull four of my favorite sweatshirts and bring some cozy cuteness to my LBD.
For my first outfit I was aiming for that classic black and white Chanel look. I layered a perfume bottle sweatshirt over a black and white striped blouse, then added a Chanel necklace and earrings. To complete this look, I am wearing a flowered headband and tuxedo-style tights.
Recently Pam Skaist-Levy and Gela Nash-Taylor were in Houston showing their Pam & Gela line. These gals are incredibly nice and, as the founders of Juicy Couture, they know how to make a girl look cozy-chic. For this look I am wearing an oversized graphic sweatshirt by Pam & Gela. I layered it over a white blouse and burgundy leggings.
I love the spiritual hippie vibe of this sweatshirt. I accessorized with a flower headband, then made two jeweled stretch headbands into chokers.
One of my daughter's favorite bands is the Grateful Dead, so I dropped by Mio Boutique to pick up this darling pink sweatshirt. My pink crochet hat, pink socks and utility boots finished this look. Can't wait until my next concert!
