Houston temperatures are unpredictable, especially in the winter. It can get cold here though, so we Houston ladies need to keep some warm, stylish sweaters on hand. When going out during the day or evening in chilly temps, an easy way to continue to put your little black dress to use is by throwing a sweater over it. 

I headed over to The Webster, the Miami boutique import housed in a new standalone building in the Galleria, and found this colorful wrap sweater by Balmain. This long, light weight sweater is the perfect way to add some wow to your LBD. I added a matching purse—also Balmain—plus sunglasses and a hat to make an outfit suitable for a luncheon, business meeting or early dinner.

This cozy, oversized sweater is perfect to wear over your LBD when it's chilly outside. I took a black leather wrap belt with a rose embellishment and made it into a necklace. Some warm socks, hat and gloves complete this cold-weather look. I'm a big fan of black mixed with off-white. 

Lastly, I love this oval-shaped cardigan from Em & Lee with an awesome tiger face on the back. What a way to make an entrance...or should I say exit! Rawr!
