Lilli Heintz clearly has a knack for being in front of the camera. The college freshman and up-and-coming Page Parkes model—you might have seen her in Houstonia's April fashion feature—has more than just fierce looks to offer.
How would you describe your style?
I would describe my style as a blend of bohemian with trends from the '90s thrown in the mix. Some of my favorite jackets are reminiscent of the '90s, like my favorite leather jacket, denim jacket and my vibrant purple and red windbreaker. I also love the classic mom jeans. They’re so comfortable and to me they feel like sweatpants. I definitely feel as though I’m channeling my inner Full House when I wear these.
Who are some of your biggest style inspirations?
Lately I have been drawn to the style of Jennifer Aniston’s character Rachel Green from Friends, mainly because she has '90s style on point. I’m also inspired by YouTuber Eva Gutowski. She makes me want to be more adventurous when it comes to my style.

What experiences have molded your style?
I have always been independent when it comes to my style and choosing an outfit. When I was a little girl, my mom would always let me dress myself. As a 5-year-old, I would make myself look super cute while trying to remain comfortable. I still do that to this day. If I’m going out for coffee or running errands, I’ll throw on some mom jeans, a leotard and a sweater or a V-neck tied in a knot to give it a cropped feel. Cute, yet comfy.
What are some products you swear by?
I love Burt’s Bees lip balm. It smells good and is really moisturizing. I always carry chapstick with me because it can save your life on days when your lips are dry and need a bit of moisture. I was also recently turned on to They’re Real! mascara by Benefit. I’ve only been using it for about a month but it does amazing things for my lashes.
What are some of your favorite places to shop?
I actually love thrift shopping—it’s like a treasure hunt! I tend to find the cutest clothes at Goodwill or at random antique shops. My favorite thing about thrifting is that each piece of clothing has its own story. New clothes lack that uniqueness and that character that clothes at a thrift store have. These clothes have had a whole life before me, so when I find a piece like this I just get a feeling and know it will complete my wardrobe because of that character.
Has your style evolved drastically now that you are a model?
I think it’s safe to say that my wardrobe is only improving with time! I believe that this work has given me a new perspective on how to dress. I’ve also learned that I am able to dress in different clothes, perhaps some that are more mature for my age, and still let my personality shine through.
What is the best advice you can give to readers about style?
I am actually a pastor's daughter and I was raised to see how God made us. That was the best advice I was given growing up, to just be who God made you to be. I would also say to wear what makes you feel the most comfortable. You never want to feel out of place or spend your evening trying to cover yourself up. Embrace the body that God gave you and show who you are no matter what people think.
