Houston Creatives Show the Art of Giving

From painting to tattoos, check out these 10 artsy efforts to support Harvey recovery.

SugarbunniesHandmade designed two Texas Strong decals available in a range of colors, with profits benefiting JJ Watt’s Hurricane Relief Fund.

Houston artist Fifi Phi shared on Instagram that she spent the days after Harvey painting to relieve her fretting. Now she's selling the resulting pieces and donating all proceeds to relief efforts.

100 percent of proceeds from Genie Mack’s #HoustonStrong digital prints are going to hurricane relief efforts.

Heather from Simply PRINTly designed a Texas Strong mug and downloadable print to benefit Hurricane Harvey relief efforts.

Anna Kirby Creations is selling miniature paintings available at Space Montrose and donating the proceeds to the Sojourn Houston hurricane relief fund and the Houston Food Bank.

Through Saturday, Sept. 9, Texas Body Art is offering 20 Texas-themed tattoo designs starting at $50 with all sales donated to JJ Watt's relief fund.

Fashion and beauty illustrator Rongrong DeVoe is selling prints through her Etsy shop with proceeds benefiting The Houston Food Bank. Through September 8, she is donating 20% of sales from her entire site.

Sisters Saba and Sarah Jawda, the design duo behind Jawda and Jawda, are donating $50,000 worth of design hours to flood victims in Harris County. For more information, email [email protected] by Sept. 15.

thimblepress designed a variety of downloadable animal and plant prints with proceeds benefiting the Houston SPCA.

Tinta & Papel Co. is selling a Texas bluebonnet print for $15 with proceeds going directly to those who have been affected by this catastrophe.

Designer and illustrator Gabrielle Aguirre created two Houston illustrationsthat can be reproduced as throw pillows, tote bags, and so much more. Proceeds benefit Hurricane Harvey relief efforts.

HOUSTON IS OUR HOME. Hurricane Harvey has left our town, along with other Texas cities up and down the coast, in utter disarray. Like so many other Houstonians and Texans, our hearts break for those who have experienced the trauma of extreme flooding, tornadoes and disaster. But we aren’t giving up, and we’ve also been inspired by all the makers and creatives both local and from afar who want to do what they can to make a difference.
