Sneakerheads, rejoice: From December 8-24 at the Galleria, you can customize your own pair of one-of-a-kind Converse Chuck Taylor All Stars.
“Chucks By You” affords holiday shoppers “a rare opportunity” to design a pair of the classic kicks with a variety of embroidered patches, laces and lace bolts, grommets, aglets and stencils for DIY-ing.
“Since the '70s, the classic Converse Chuck Taylor All Star hi- and low-top sneakers have continued to be a cultural icon for self expression,” a press release said.
A fresh pair of kicks is a blank canvas for your wildest shoe customization dreams.

Indeed, the distinctive shoes have famously graced the feet of everyone from Tommy Ramone to Kurt Cobain.
Indulge your inner punk starting next Friday until Christmas Eve, when customization is free with proof of purchase of new Chucks from a qualifying retailer. Hit the kiosk on level 1 of the Galleria every day from noon until the mall closes.
