Zoë Jackson is moving to L.A., and the vintage items she's collected over three decades in Houston are all up for grabs.

Though decidedly sad news for Houston's fashion community, Zoë Jackson's West Coast relocation might actually be good news for you if you're in the market for fabulous vintage finds this weekend—and who among us isn't?

For 30 years, Jackson–a singer/songwriter, former owner of beloved, longtime Montrose shop Fashion Plate (now closed), and the stylish force behind Haute Mother Vintage—has amassed an impressive collection of vintage fashion. She's styled clients and runway shows, served as a muse for designers like Selven O'Keef Jarmon and Kimono Zulu, and established a devoted and diverse private clientele, including men and women of all shapes, sizes, and backgrounds.

"Over the years, I have sold thousands of pieces and never stopped collecting until this date," Jackson said in a February 2 email. "Whatever generally appealed to private clients I serviced, to forecasting trends or unique finds I just couldn't pass up, have made my collection what it is."

That collection includes not just vintage clothing but accessories, furniture, and gifts, plus ready-to-wear, high-end labels, small capsule collections (including some of Jackson's own designs) and recycled pieces.

And on Sunday and Monday, it's all up for sale.

As Jackson relocates to L.A., she's liquidating her entire collection in a two-day pop-up sale at Melodrama Boutique. Jackson promises the lowest prices ever to the city "that gifted me with much success, support, and love." The more you buy, Jackson adds, the deeper the discount. Everything is up for grabs, too, right down to fixtures and mannequins.

"I have been noted as someone who, as a vocal music performer, never [dons] the same outfit twice," Jackson says. "I've been a performer for over 30 years, so you can imagine the amount of pieces that would be. I've enjoyed every moment of dressing myself and others."

To take a piece of Jackson's eclectic taste home with you, head to Melodrama on 5306 Almeda Road on Sunday, February 4 from noon–4 p.m. and Monday, February 5 from 3–7 p.m. For private appointments and more information, contact Jackson directly at [email protected]
