A new custom suit is now just a Galleria trek away for Houston shoppers.
Indochino, the made-to-measure menswear retailer, opened a 3,100 square-foot showroom in the Galleria on March 2, part of a spring push into the Texas market with stores in Austin and Dallas to follow next month. The new locations take Indochino's store count to 24 across North America, and the company hopes to expand into Atlanta, Denver, and San Diego later this year.
CEO Drew Green said thousands of customers in Houston, Austin, and Dallas already shop with Indochino online–the brand started in e-commerce before launching its first showroom in 2015–but calls the in-person experience "the shopping concept of the future."

There, customers are matched with personal stylists who help them design their own suit or shirt–which start at $399 and $79, respectively–and navigate millions of possible fabric combinations and personalization options. Garments are made to the customer's measurements and shipped to his door within three weeks.
The model is an immersive version of what Indochino already offers online, a service Forbes dubbed "too-good-to-be-true-that's-actually-true" back in 2012.
The Houston showroom officially opened for business March 2. Shoppers can find it on the first floor in the center court of the mall; hours are 10 a.m.–9 p.m. Monday–Saturday and 11 a.m.–7 p.m. Sunday.
