Bridal Inspiration Expo

When: Thursday, April 26; 6–8 p.m.
Where: Casa de Novia Bridal Couture, 2040 W. Gray St.
What: The River Oaks bridal shop teams up with Switch2Pure and The Blonde Pantry for an evening dedicated to looking and feeling your best ahead of the big day. Expect champagne and healthy snacks along with tips and tutorials from skin care specialists, bridal stylists, makeup artists, and nutritionists, plus complimentary makeup applications, special discounts, and a preview of Carolina Herrera's Spring 2019 Bridal Collection. DASH Spring Market

When: Thursday, April 26 (preview party, 6–9 p.m.); Friday, April 27 (11 a.m.–7 p.m.); Saturday, April 28 (10 a.m.–5 p.m.); and Sunday, April 29 (10 a..m.–4 p.m.)
Where: Silver Street Studios, 2000 Edwards St.

Shop With Heart

When: Friday, April 27–Sunday, May 6
Where: Participating retailers, see full list
What: The fifth annual 10-day shopping event to benefit the American Heart Association gives shoppers 20 percent off regularly priced merchandise at participating Houston retailers like Kuhl-Linscomb, Tootsies, and Events with a Shop With Heart Card, available for a minimum donation of $50–all proceeds go to the AHA toward its efforts to reduce cardiovascular disease and stroke.

Sage and Let Go

When: Saturday, April 28; 6–8 p.m.
Where: Malia Mills Pop-up Shop, 444 Westheimer Rd.
What: Local lifestyle consultants Brunch and Slay and blogger Healthy Latina Lifestyle take over the River Oaks District Malia Mills pop-up for "a night of dancing and surrender." Partake in guided meditation and create your own smudge wand with sage and other herbs and flowers to practice the ancient self-care ritual meant to clear energy from a space. Bring a yoga mat and all your good vibes.
