Elaine Turner Launches Mail-Order Styling With 'The Edit' Box

Get a brand-new wardrobe without leaving the house.

Mail days just became a whole lot prettier. Elaine Turner, Houston’s prized designer and resident Southern style expert, has introduced an exciting new concept to her namesake brand. After 12 years of creating chic bamboo handbags and brightly colored tunics, Turner is diving into the world of subscription boxes. Enter: The Elaine Turner Edit Box.

Busy gals in Houston and around the country can now join the Elaine Turner Edit Box program, marketed as a concierge styling service for women. Joining Goliath box purveyors like Stitch Fix and Le Tote, the new Elaine Turner Edit includes selections from the brand’s full line. A parade of handbags, shoes, apparel, and accessories meant for you fit neatly into each box, bringing a personal stylist into your own abode. Turner's newest arrivals are ideal for summer, featuring tropical palm prints and flouncy tassel dresses.

While Turner’s nationwide team of Elite Stylists can still make house calls for styling sessions, the new box allows you to work with an expert with even more ease. Shoppers fill out a personal style quiz on the Elaine Turner website, identifying everything from favorite types of products to details about body shape. The simple survey takes five minutes, a pretty good deal to save hours in a regular shopping mall (and more spent fighting for parking if you’re visiting the Galleria).

After receiving your box, packaged with that hot pink crown motif we all know and love, you’ll have the opportunity to connect with your stylist online. Consider her your new online bestie ready to give you feedback on what she really thinks of your new look.

Turner’s new box also removes the pressure from trying on clothes and making snap decisions. You’ll have time to sit, stand, even dance around in your new selections before saying "yes." Subscribers are encouraged to choose their favorites and ditch whatever items don't strike their fancy. You’ll only be charged for the pieces you keep, but something tells us we may want to keep it all.

There is quite an advantage for Elaine Turner fans who opt for a box: Shoppers will receive 20 percent off their selected pieces, meaning you can start saving box No. 2. For a limited time, Elaine Turner is offering a trial of the new service for just $1.

Skip the traffic, stay in your yoga pants, and wait for the mail carrier with a new wardrobe? You don’t have to ask us twice.
