Phoenix Rising Acupuncture Grand Opening
When: Thursday, June 13 (11 a.m.–6 p.m.); Friday, June 14 (11 a.m.–6 p.m.); and Saturday, June 15 (10 a.m.–4 p.m.)

What: A three-day extravaganza celebrates Houston's first and only "AcuHouse," Phoenix Rising Acupuncture, which recently moved from a shared wellness center to its own private space in River Oaks. Owner and practitioner Lori Earley has created an airy, toxin-free, two-story space for healing through acupuncture, herbs, Reiki, cupping, traditional Chinese medicine, and more from an all-female team. Normally by appointment only, Phoenix Rising opens its iconic pink door to the public for this weekend-long open house featuring workshops like astrology and tarot readings, a sound bath session, fertility and women's health talks, and discounts on services and apothecary goods. Candytopia Houston

Where: Marq*E Entertainment Center, 7620 Katy Fwy, Suite 360
What: A candy-lover's fever dream come to life, this traveling interactive experience—in Houston for a limited time—draws obvious comparisons to Willy Wonka's fictional confectionary emporium. Featuring 14 rooms of immersive art installations and full sensory experiences (think swimming in a pool of 300,000 marshmallows), Candytopia brands itself as a mini theme park that's like "if an eccentric chocolatier and a daredevil pop star had a whirlwind romance, got married while skydiving, and had a glamorous, glittering love child who grew up to rule a small nation." Okay! It's got a sizable celebrity following, too, like Drew Barrymore, Gwyneth Paltrow, Usher, Hilary Duff, and Kevin Durant, so it's no wonder that tickets are already selling out.
Ines Di Santo Bridal Trunk Show
When: Friday, June 14 and Saturday, June 15; 10 a.m.–5 p.m.
Where: Joan Pillow Bridal Salon, 4001 Westheimer
What: An exclusive trunk show brings glamorous, couture gowns from Ines Di Santo to Houston for a limited time, and local brides-to-be can ooh and aah at the ethereal pieces, inspired by the designer's Argentinian and Italian heritage, in person—and be among the first to try on the Spring 2020 Bridal Collection. Mix 96.5 Prom Night Do-Over
When: Saturday, June 15; 7:30 p.m.–midnight
Where: Omni Houston Hotel, 4 Riverway
What: Why should kids get to have all the fun? This is your chance to relive your prom night—and enjoy it exponentially more now that you can legally drink. There will still be formal attire (the theme is Vintage Hollywood, so come dressed to impress in your best Marilyn, Audrey, or James Dean), spiked punch, and plenty of dancing, but (hopefully) no throwing up in the bushes or crying in the bathroom. Plus, it's at the ultra-glam Omni Hotel, which just underwent a $30 million renovation and is offering special prom room rates. A silent auction benefits the Barbara Bush Literacy Foundation, and the fun continues after-hours in the Omni's Black Swan. Tickets for the 21+ event start at $45/person for access to a cash bar and free coffee and dessert; $125 VIP gets you light bites, drink tickets, elevated amenities, and lounge seating.
