Get Your Holiday Shopping Done at These DASH Market Events

Houston, you can knock out all of your holiday shopping and support small businesses over the next two weekends.
After its fall edition was postponed because of the pandemic, the biannual DASH Market is back and right in time for the holiday season. And as an extra special present, we get a chance to shop the home décor and gift market twice.
To Kick Things Off
On Saturday, the Design-Art-Style-Home market is hosting a pop-up event from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at CityPlace Plaza in Spring. Munch on croissants and sip cider from Common Bond and Island Grill as you wander through the decked-out booths of more than 20 local and nationwide vendors.
Be sure to snap a selfie in front of the 35-foot-tall Christmas tree plopped in the middle of the pond at CityPlace’s waterfront plaza. Or pretend you live in the brand-new gingerbread village, which includes a 16-foot-tall gingerbread house.

The Main Event
The main DASH Market is taking over Silver Street Studios the weekend of December 10–13. With more than 130 vendors selling homemade goods like custom jewelry, bags, candles, ceramics, and goodies, you’ll walk away with all of your shopping done … for this year and maybe next.
Look for small businesses like Wimberly Inc from Round Top, Pajama Princess from Austin, and Houston’s own denim-jacket-bedazzling duo Two Tequila Sisters. Other vendors include Paris Texas Apparel Co., Two Little Byrds, KB Design HTX, and Bug in a Box.
While you shop, enjoy the musical stylings of Disco Santa. And don’t miss the C.A.M.O. pet adoption event happening from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday–Sunday.
Get early access and some great deals at the FIRST DASH Preview Party from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. December 10. Cocktails will be provided by The Warehouse Bar, and there will be light bites from Picnic on the Green, Relish Restaurant and Bar, and Island Grill. Preview Party tickets cost $35 but will get you admission all weekend.
