Streetwear culture is making a comeback, and you can get a front-row seat right here in H-Town.

From Houston-based brands like Dios and Premium Goods, there's been a large revival of the fashion culture reminiscent of the early 2000s 一 and now Houston is seemingly taking note. Nollege, a Texas-based sneaker, streetwear, and vintage shop has chosen The Heights for the brand’s next storefront location.

Nollege  store's flagship location in Dallas' Deep Ellum area, built up quite the loyal following and has amassed over 22,000 followers on Instagram for its stylish offerings. Eugene Valle, president of Nollege, was originally born in Dallas, but was raised in Houston, and was sure that bringing the concept back to his H-Town roots was the best idea.

"I wanted to find an area that kind of fit what we're doing down here in Deep Ellum in Dallas, and basically, based on everybody's requests and the feedback that I got from people, The Heights kept being that, that answer," Valle tells Houstonia.

The business owns sought-after streetwear fashion pieces, across popular brands like Nike, Adidas, Supreme, Bape, Kith, New Balance, Off White, Jordan, Yeezy, and others, according to a release. Valle says that Nollege differs from other resell and consignment shops in Houston because it offers a unique "boutique, retail experience."

"When you think of just a resale store a lot of these stores are literally just put up shoes for sale, you come in, buy them, and that's it. That's all it," Valle explains. "We're a little bit different than that. Retail boutiques like to have events, they like to bring the community together. They almost always have their own home brand, where they drop their own merch and their own tees and their own hats and shorts and all that good stuff. And that's always something that we love to do."

Coming to Houston in September, the brand is working behind the scenes to plan their grand opening for Houston. "We want to create an experience and make people feel welcomed," Valle says.

Nollege will open in September and will be located in The Heights M-K-T, 600 N Shepherd Dr, Ste 132.
