Save big while supporting a good cause this week with the SALE Houston. From January 5 to 7, the SALE, sponsored by Houston Tri-Delta Philanthropies Inc., returns to the Bayou City Event Center for a charitable two-day shopping experience. Guests can shop luxury brands guilt-free knowing that this year's proceeds will benefit pediatric cancer research for the University of Texas MD Anderson Children’s Cancer Hospital.

Fifty local Houston retailers will be participating at the event, all with dramatically discounted items for sale. This year’s participating boutiques include Bumble and Brim, Christy Lynn Collection, Frock Shop, J. Landa Jewelry, Pomp and Circumstance, and more. Shoppers are able to sift through everything from curated jewelry and vintage and modern clothing, to fur-lined coats and high-quality Italian shoes. Discounted merchandise can range anywhere from 20 to 75 percent off.

Within the last eight years, the SALE has raised over $1.6 million with a simple goal to raise more than the last.

“Each one of us has all been affected by cancer whether it personally or a loved one,” Bridget Melancon Hoffman, the SALE’s marketing chair, said. “We are so lucky to live in a city with world-class hospitals like MD Anderson that are leading innovative and life-saving research.”

The SALE begins on Thursday, January 5 with a VIP Cocktails and Couture happy hour from 6 to 9 p.m. Tickets go for $250 and include admission to the preview party and both event dates. General admission will commence Friday, January 6 to Saturday, January 7, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tickets are $30 for a one-day pass or $50 for both days. Event tickets can be purchased on the SALE's website.
