As we get closer to Thanksgiving, airline companies are making it more challenging to find bargain flights. Don’t fret, though: there's still time to take a relatively affordable trip. But hop on it as soon as you can, because prices will continue to increase.

• Prices are bit higher for Southwest Airlines in comparison to last week, but that doesn’t mean you can’t grab a decent deal. One-way fares range from $76 to $184 to a variety of locations including Atlanta, Charlotte, Chicago, Ft. Lauderdale, Los Angeles, and more. Book your tickets by November for travel from November 7 through March 9.

• Take a trip to Miami, Hartford, Palm Springs, Reno, or Jacksonville with American Airlines. Round-trip flights out of IAH are starting at $275 for travel from November 3 through March 9.
• Departures from Hobby Airport include Roswell ($326), John Wayne Orange County ($385) and Palm Springs (434), and have to be purchased by midnight on November 5. Travel dates include November 3 through March 9.

• Discover Negril, Jamaica during November 1 through December 21 with CheapCaribbean.com for $459. The package entails a five-night stay at Legends Beach Resort (it’s directly on Seven Mile Beach) and round-trip airfare from IAH or Hobby Airport; however, meals are not included. Today is the last day to book this trip, so don’t wait any longer.

• Celebrate Thanksgiving in Cancun from $595. The all-inclusive promotion includes a four-night stay at a beachfront resort, a round-trip flight and daily meals. Book this package by November 3.

• Spirit Airlines has airfare from $34.10 to $68.09 for trips during November until February. Though, the deal is only for selection destinations such as Denver, Detroit, Kansas City, Las Vegas and Orlando, to name a few.

• Smartfares.com is offering a non-stop, round-trip flight to Dubai starting at $1,230. The promotion is for a weekend getaway from now until November 16, and must be purchased by November 3.
