Austin can keep its Trail of Lights, we’re getting our own trail of holiday wonder come November.

Lightscape, which has dazzled cities like London and Chicago, is joining Zoo Lights and Galaxy Lights in Houston’s impressive ranks of holiday light shows. Starry-eyed Houstonians will walk through a one-mile trail at the Houston Botanic Garden, complete with Texas-themed illuminations, installations from around the world, and the twinkling 100,000-bulb Cathedral of Light tunnel, plus your holiday favorites from Sony Music.

“Houston Botanic Garden looks forward to sharing with visitors the magic of Lightscape, a new holiday lights show designed specifically around the natural beauty of Houston’s living museum for plants,” said Claudia Gee Vassar, president and general counsel of Houston Botanic Garden, in a statement. “We expect this to be an especially festive holiday season, and we believe Lightscape at the Garden will provide the perfect backdrop for friends and family to gather, celebrate, and make lasting memories.”

The light show will take place between Nov 20, 2021–Jan 2, 2022. Tickets are priced at $23 adults, $16 children. Learn more here.
