Easter Orange Hunt + Peeps Art Contest

Bring the whole family to the Orange Show Monument's colorful maze as kids hunt for candy-filled eggs and, naturally, oranges. Stick around for the fifth annual Peeps Art Contest, where the marshmallow treats are transformed into everything from sculptures to creative dioramas.

It's always an—ahem—eggcellent idea to visit Galveston, with Moody Gardens' annual Easter egg hunts being no exception. Kids 9 years old and under can hunt for eggs on the Oleander Bowl throughout the day, while both the young and young at heart can feast on the delicious Easter Sunday buffet in the Garden Restaurant or Moody Gardens Hotel.
