It's a truth universally acknowledged that some of the most interesting looks during Fashion Week can be spotted on the celebrities and influencers attending the shows, not the models on the catwalk.

Exhibit A: Solange Knowles Ferguson hit the Maryam Nassir Zadeh Spring 2018 show in New York and immediately made fashion waves. The A Seat at the Table singer debuted new platinum blond braids of varying size, paired with bold, oversized earrings, a voluminous crop top and high-waisted trousers with an ultra-chic paperbag waist that only the bold can pull off.

Solange wasn't just attending the show, which took place on a public running track next to New York's East River, but also provided the musical soundtrack, singing "Rise," accompanied by a low-key trio of musicians. She's also been photographed out and about in New York in Zadeh's cool-girl designs.

Let's go ahead and declare Solange the unofficial queen of fashion week fashion. Long may she reign.
