Camerata in the Oaks will be part of the Stomping Grounds development on 34th Street in Garden Oaks/Oak Forest.

Camerata at Paulie's, the popular Montrose wine bar and nightcap hangout, is expanding with a second location in the Stomping Grounds development in Garden Oaks/Oak Forest, and is slated to open in spring 2019.

At 1,500 square feet, the new space at the 34th Street mixed-use property will be called Camerata in the Oaks and focus on retail with 10 in-store seats for tastings. Tony Stein, who is currently the sommelier at Camerata at Paulie's, will slide over to Oaks as general manager.

Camerata in the Oaks will also sell both domestic and international beer and pre-packaged food items like meats, cheeses, pasta, and sauces.

"Camerata in the Oaks will mirror Camerata at Paulie's commitment to small production, high-quality, minimal-intervention wine,” said Chris Poldoian, the wine director and general manager at Camerata at Paulie's. “Our goal with the wine shop is to introduce residents of Garden Oaks and Oak Forest to new varieties and regions in an approachable, friendly way."
